TRADBURNER is an instrumental trio comprised of bass, drums and sax. Drawing influence from psychedelic rock, hip-hop, and fusion, this band of jazz school graduates released their self-titled debut album on November 25, 2022.

The group takes an improvisational approach to composition, finding sounds by way of play. Pulling intricate drum grooves, heavy bass lines and high-energy melodies from writing sessions, the band has developed a distinctive catalogue. Performances weave continuously through their songs, often extending and developing themes to make way for explosive improvisation and interplay.

The trio includes Cole Smith (bass), Will Friesen (drums) , and Zach Griffin (sax and keyboard).
